Mentoring Workshops for Researchers

Georgetown Howard University CCTS

The Core Minority Health and Health
Disparities Research Seminar Series

The Core Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Seminar is a quarterly, cross-institutional series aimed at bringing together trainees, investigators and communities to:

  • Define key issues across the broad range of minority health and health disparities research,
  • Share issues and challenges in designing and executing research,
  • Introduce new methods, approaches, and opportunities,
  • Foster collaborations and partnerships, and
  • Host presentations by outstanding investigators.

The seminars generally consist of panel presentations with a strong emphasis on community engagement. The seminars are also designed to be interactive discussion forums.

The CEHD, Georgetown-Howard Universities Center for Clinical and Translational Science (GHUCCTS), and the University-wide Initiative to Reduce Health Disparities are proud to co-sponsor this series.

Please stay tuned for an announcement about our 2015 series!
